And Away We Go! Scootering Safety with Andy from Auckland Transport!
After our Monday scootering session we have learned to emergency stop, look out for pedestrians, brake effectively, turn left and right, use both feet - one at a time - to brake and how to fit helmets so they do not fall off when we fall over!

The Tread Lightly Caravan visits our school
Thank you to the parents of Sammy, Aayush, David, Kiera, Jessica and Caprice who all came along to support us in the activities for learning about how to live in a sustainable way in New Zealand.
All the children took home a photograph of themselves holding their pledges. In their take home folders are pledges to make at home with their families. Please talk about this with your family and return your idea to school for us to record on our Tread Lightly Display Wall.
