Andy from AT talks to us about crossing the road and where you should be getting out of the car safely.


Andy came to talk to us about what is good road sense around our school. We talked about Stop Look Listen before crossing the road including the pedestrian crossing on Fordyce Road as some drivers think they do not have to stop even if you are waiting to cross!! He told the class to tell their parents to not use their phones in the car and park in the correct places around our school. We have a problem with this in our community and sometimes it is up to children to remind the adults so children do not get hurt!

    I really like the messages you have put on your badges Room 14. great learning and keep walking safely to school (even if it is from your car that might be parked a little further away to ease congestion at the school gates).
