What do you know about Rocket Lab?
How do rockets take off?
What is rocket propulsion?
What does a satellite do?
Can we live on Mars?
These were all questions we heard answered today when R14 joined in a live stream at 1:30pm today. We heard young students interviewing scientists who work for Rocket Lab in New Zealand talk about what it was that made them interested in Space. University Professors showed their satellite projects and real astronauts from the United States showed us what it was like to have no gravity. Then we started out with a simple rocket launch experiment ourselves:
We had such a lot of fun - try it at home!
Awesome work Room 14, can't wait to try this at home.

ReplyDeleteRockets! Well I think some of you might grow up to be rocket scientists! How exciting joining the live stream to hear from the experts. NZ is becoming a world leader in rocket engineering and rockets going into space launched in Aotearoa too!
